Wonderful Primroses

Our garden is full of some of my favourite flowers at this time of year....lovely primroses. These are beautiful, wonderfully scented,  little yellow flowers with lovely heart shaped petals. They seem to love the soil in our garden and self seed themselves everywhere. Most are a beautiful pale yellow but some are almost white and quite a few are pretty shades of pink. They look so lovely and attract lots of early bumble bees and butterflies. We see tortoiseshells, peacocks and brimstones on sunny days. The scent is divine too.

Cheery Daffodils

I have been completing lots of commissions lately and not had as much time as normal for other paintings. However I have recently completed this one....full of Cheery Happy Daffodils inspired by all the beautiful daffodils in my garden.
